This my friends was a phrase I used quite often today. I don't know about at your house but at my house the saying "If moms not happy, nobodys happy," rings quite true (don't be offended mom we're okay with that) so basically this weekend has turned into Mothers weekend. Forget "day" we like our mom too much for that. So today my sister and brother and I spent most of the afternoon cleaning up our back porch. A project my mom has wanted done for quite some time. However in the mist of it. I found myself making tons of new discoveries. That big thing standing in the corner... it a hammock stand! WHO KNEW! wait, we have a hammock? fun. those white benches, they're tables too! HA! (I think I knew this at one point but was still amazed upon the memory) So you're saying that the table comes off the (BIG CRASH) OH! Thats what this is!?! Got it..... Well I think you get the picture. Generally, I think of myself as a rather intelligent person today I questioned that intelligence several times. BUT we had fun, and my mother was thrilled, that makes it all worth it. So now. Mom is happy and so is everyone else. :-D
In other news.... I was awakened today by an old couple ringing the doorbell THREE times... seriously if no one answers, go away... they wanted to know about the tractor my dad has for sale... call.my.dad. really? Do I look like I know about he tractor... give me a break. Well fifteen minutes later they finally left. I honestly thought I must have been dreaming, I wasn't they really just rang my doorbell three times early in the morning and then asked me a bunch of questions about something I told them I knew nothing about..... grrr! anyway my closet is mostly clean, my room is a mess. My little brother sings opera in the shower and it is FUNNY! My little sister had a melt down over my mom getting rid of some of her clothes... this was also funny. AND This my dear dear friends is the best news of all, MY DAD TURNED THE AIR DOWN SO WE DON'T DIE!!!! Praise the Lord! Now I"m sitting in my room not suffocating from the lack of air, its wonderful. Okay I think I've milked this day for all its worth... maybe even a little more. Praying for you guys!
