More cows than corn...

First and foremost (this is for Lesly)... so far in the great state of Ohio I have seen many many for cows than I have seen corn so... let the games begin. (if you are lost by now, I'm sorry don't worry about it).

Anywhoo... Sunday I went to church for the first time here, and it was great. A phenomenal family church thirsty for God. I felt blessed after leaving. I am looking forward to getting to know these people more, and being a part (however small or large) of their lives. Sunday evening was an adventure, but we'll skip the details. :D Wednesday will be my first meeting with the students and I couldn't be more excited about it! Rumor has it that they are all just as excited. I feel like God has BIG! things in store this summer (not that I haven't said that already) but everything I've seen here only makes those feelings that much stronger.

Other than just getting ready for meetings and such I haven't done a whole lot. My grandmother lives in a sleepy little town where everyone knows everyone and everything and it's just good times. I've had a lot of time to read and think and just chill out which is wonderful, and I'm afraid has only fed my introverted personality, and may get me into a world of trouble back at school, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. (sorry to my room mates, and dear friends who put up with me! :\ love you guys!)

Goodbye for now

  1. I for one can appreciate a introverted personality binge. Thats what summer's for, right?
