Allow me to start off with a brief run down of my day. GN is still running a crazy fluctuating fever... its the weirdest thing. So she I stayed home today we woke up around 9 got out of bed around 10:30, watched movies... by sister brought us some lunch, we watched more movies. It was good times. Tonight I went to the college meeting at my church. It was good times.... We talked about faith and prayer, and God's voice and doubting God's voice... and what that looks like kind of... It was interesting. Maybe a bit much for a group setting, but interesting non the less. I think I'm still digesting some of this. But let me leave you with this question... What do you think these things look like? How do they all play together in a faith Journey? mmmh hhhh... yyyyeeeeaaaaaahha.... thats all I've got tonight
(tomorrow I'm taking GN to the doctor, look forward to that :\ )
AH! HEAL GN! Peantut butter does wonders. Not peanut, peantut. it's better, and much more rare.
ReplyDeleteso. i've been thinking about the faith and prayer and God's voice and doubting and all that jazz... here's what i've come up with personally.
ReplyDeleteI'm a pretty trusting person in general, but it's a lot easier for me to trust someone I know really well. KNOWING God, seeing His character through His Word, through experiences, makes faith come easier... I LOVE studying the names of God and seeing Him live up to His names throughout history in the lives of His people... so I think that kind of goes along with the hearing His voice thing too - knowing what His guidance has looked like in the past, knowing that He never changes... that kinda thing... random thoughts three days later, but thought I'd respond :)
HOPE GRACIE IS FEELING BETTER!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!! (thought in case you hadn't had enough drama going on, i'd add some.) SIGH!!! SWOON!!!!!!!! COLLAPSE!!!!!!!!
