(Yes, I am aware that sounds like a cheesey child's book) Anyway here we go.
First, I really love my house... like the actual structure. Its just fun, my dad built the house (obviously he has some help, but yeah). I just really like that idea, the idea that I know that my house was created for me and my family by my dad because he is just cool and fun. All dads should build houses, their families will think its cool
Second off I love my yard. Its a crazy yard with like two seconds of grass and then red dirt and then piles and piles of other dirt (which are great to play on) and then some trees (we don't go out there) It just fun and puts no boundaries on the imagination... how cool is that, we can do WHATEVER we want... pirates, explorers, excavators, engineers, scientists, dinosaurs, jungle animals, sea creatures... well I think you get the picture. NO limits!!! I just really really love it
Third off I really love my room. Currently I share my room with the baby of the family. This, my dear friends, makes for great times. For example, High School Musical 2 was the CD that was in my player this afternoon... which means I ran through my house doing a fabulous rendition on "Bet on it" for a while today. I also just love my room because it is yellow and fun (currently a HUGE mess) and it provides me with an escape should I ever need one.
Next I really love the Magical Pantry of Goodness. I am completely convinced that no matter how many times we go into the pantry it will never run out of wonderful things to eat. After living at college many of us know how important it is to be able to eat whatever and whenever you want. This is also the place where the coke is kept... which makes it an automatic win.
Five, I love the washing machine. It's gigantic!
Sixth, I love the lack of cell phone service that forces us to act a little strange some times. (I just really needed to send that message.)
Then, I love that my parents poured some concrete stuffy stuff so we can park... yes I have taken over the fabulous parking spot... so what. (also there is enough room for two.)
Eight, I love that my house is my home, not college. Do I really need another reason?
Ninth, I love the open door policy at my house. Everyone is welcome all the time. Please come it eat dinner with us, watch movies, have some popcorn.... anyone up for ice cream? Any all come join the family.
Finally, I like my house because my family is there... my mom and dad and brothers and sister, and the old people.... They are all here in one place, and when I come home they are all really excited to see me and they make my favorite foods, and have fresh flowers, and cokes, and its just really fun. They wait for me, they make sure my room (which I like) is clean. They listen to all of my stories that aren't really funny, but they kind of are... they just have a good time, they are just cool and I just really really like it.
So there you go... Today I realized all of this as I was sitting at my house. I was thinking that I should probably go and unpack stuff and get stuff out of my car and blah blah blah... Well I didn't do any of that today. I did sleep until eleven, run my baby brother and new pair of shoes, coming back to my house and playing on my computer for for... basically the rest of the afternoon until my mom came home and then I ran some errands with her had dinner, watched a movie and now... here I am writing about my day.... many of the next few days will probably look like this but yeah... I'll make it interesting. :-D
i love you and your house and your tweets.
